The triplet of galaxies Messier 65, Messier 66 and NGC 3628 in the constellation of Leo
This chart shows the location of the triplet of bright galaxies Messier 65, Messier 66 and NGC 3628 within the constellation of Leo (The Lion). This map shows most of the stars visible to the unaided eye under good conditions, and the two brighter galaxies are marked as red ellipses, within a red circle. Through a moderate-sized amateur telescope these three galaxies are easily seen as bright but hazy ovals, with NGC 3628 being the biggest but faintest.
