Testing the UT1 mechanical structure
Meanwhile, tests of the mechanical structure of Unit Telescope 1 (UT1) continue. They include motion around the two main axes. On this photo, the telescope has been lowered towards the horizon. The enclosure slit through which astronomical observations will later be made is seen in the background.
