ESO 1999 PR retrospective

Many different activities took place at ESO in1999. They ranged from technological and scientific feats to official and astronomical events at the ESO sites in Europe and Chile. Descriptions of some of these were issued as ESO Press Releases. Throughout 1999, a total of 52 communications were made, with 230 Press Photos, 14 Video Clips and 1 Audio Clip. All of these can be accessed via the 1999 Index. A great variety of subjects were covered in 1999. This is illustrated in the composite image that provided direct links to a selection of these communications.
