ALMA antenna maintenance

Engineers adjust panels in the dish of a Japanese 7-metre Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA) antenna. Through a process called holography, all of the ALMA antennas are tested to ensure the surface of their large dishes meets the strict standards required to perform world-class observations of the cosmos.
