Cerro Armazones time-lapse
A time-lapse video taken on the peak of Cerro Armazones, where the ELT will sit. Nightfall brings the Milky Way into view, twisting overhead. The Small and Large Magellanic Clouds can be seen to right of the Milky Way's central band, and green airglow brightens throughout the night, before the blinding onset of day.
