Milky Way above the ELT site
Milky Way panorama taken in Chile at the Extremely Large Telescope site, close to the center of the "ELT crater". The white band of light is a swirling galaxy of dust, stars and over 30 constellations. Despite the moonlight, even dim band of Zodiacal light can be seen.
