La Residencia, Paranal Observatory

This is a 360 degree panorama taken inside the reception of La Residencia, at Paranal Observatory. The dome visible in the background covers the "oasis" and the swimming pool where visitors and astronomers can relax. The dome is covered at sunset and during the night to protect the VLT Observatory from the artificial light inside the building.
