ESO Movie 14: Astronomy On-Line

In 1996-97, Astronomy On-Line was the world's biggest astronomy event on the World-Wide-Web. It brought together thousands of students from all over Europe and the world to learn to use the vast resources of tomorrow's communication technology. At the same time, they also experienced the excitement of real-time scientific adventure and the virtues of international collaboration. This trailer introduces the project.
