Met behulp van ESO’s Very Large Telescope Interferometer hebben astronomen dit opmerkelijke beeld gereconstrueerd van de rode superreus Antares. Het is de meest gedetailleerde afbeelding van een ster ooit, met uitzondering van onze zon.
