The location of the galaxy Markarian 1018 in the constellation of Cetus
This chart shows the large but faint constellation of Cetus (The Sea Monster). Most of the stars visible with the naked eye are shown and the position of the faint active galaxy Markarian 1018 is marked with a red circle. This object is too faint to be seen easily with small telescopes.
