ESOcast 76 : Une vue polarisée du magnétisme stellaire

Les télescopes de l'ESO sont utilisés pour rechercher les signes subtils des champs magnétiques dans d'autres étoiles et même pour cartographier les taches stellaires à leur surface. Ces informations commencent à révéler comment et pourquoi tant d'étoiles, y compris notre propre Soleil, sont magnétiques, et quelles pourraient être les répercutions sur la vie sur Terre et ailleurs dans l'Univers.
