ESO Headquarters and the Surrounding area
This photo is an aerial view of the Headquarters of the European Southern Observatory (ESO). The ESO Headquarters is located in Garching bei München, Germany. Part of the town is visible in the upper left hand quarter. The bottom right hand quarter if the Technische Universität München Forschungszentrum.
The ESO Supernova, opening in 2018, was still under construction when this photo was taken.
