Orion Nebula in infrared (fulldome)
This fulldome video reveals detail of the Orion Nebula (M42), one of the brightest nebulae in the sky, that can be seen by observing it in the infrared part of the spectrum, compared to the optical one. The Orion Nebula is a diffuse nebula and the closest region of star formation, 1 300 light-years away. It is visible with the naked eye and located in the belt of the constellation of Orion.
