Visitors at Penteli Observatory

Within the purpose of science education and public outreach, the National Observatory of Athens operates three visitor centres in Greece. During evening tours at the Visitor Center in Penteli, together with oral and video presentations, visitors can also enjoy sky observations through the historic 62.5 Newall refractor telescope, build in 1869.
