Zooming in on the Leo Triplet of galaxies
This video sequence starts with a view of the bright constellation of Leo (The Lion). We then zoom slowly in on three bright galaxies, NGC 3628, Messier 65 and Messier 66. In the final part of the video we see a very detailed view of this Leo Triplet, as well many background objects, in a new image from the VLT Survey Telescope.
