Neptune from the VLT without MUSE Narrow Field Mode adaptive optics
This image of the planet Neptune was obtained during the testing of the Narrow-Field adaptive optics mode of the MUSE instrument on ESO’s Very Large Telescope. This image is without the adaptive optics system. The image with the adaptive optics system can be seen in the ESO press release eso1824.
