Telescopes and football
Construction is still in the early stages, with the proposed site of the telescope on the Cerro Amazones mountain in Chile levelled in June 2014 by a series of blasts. This comparison reveals the sheer size and ambition of the project, rivaling the size of Bayern Munich's home ground, the Allianz Arena.
