Astronomy enthusiast Igor Chekalin from Russia
Igor Chekalin is an amateur astronomer from Russia who participated in ESO’s Hidden Treasures 2010 astrophotography competition and won the first prize: a trip to ESO’s Very Large Telescope (VLT) on Cerro Paranal, Chile, the world’s most advanced optical telescope.
