ESO will organise the second edition of the La Silla Paranal Users Workshop as a series of online events, the first of which will take place in early September. If you are a La Silla Paranal Observatory user and are interested in the most up-to-date information, learning how to use the ESO Science Archive Facility, reducing ESO data or "face-to-face" contact with ESO experts working on various support services, this first instalment of the workshop is for you.

Given the exceptional global conditions due to the Covid-19 pandemic, including the possible suspension of the Call for Proposals for Period 107, the programme for this instalment of the workshop has been modified compared to the initial announcement. The workshop will provide you, in two 2-3 hr sessions, all the necessary knowledge to obtain data from the ESO Science Archive Facility and to make the most out of ESO data thereby providing strong momentum for your science. It will also give you the possibility to directly interact with ESO staff to answer questions you may have on any aspect of the La Silla and Paranal data workflows. Further details will be available soon on the workshop website.

The registration deadline is 31 August 2020 and there are no registration fees. Participants who register by this deadline will have the possibility to request one-to-one sessions with ESO experts on any aspect of the La Silla and Paranal data workflow.
