ELT ICS Data Interface Tools (DIT)

Introduction

The ELT ICS Data Interface Tools, for short “DIT”, provide utilities to handle

• Data Interface Dictionaries (DID).

• FITS files.

For former, the following utilities are provided by DIT:

• C++ library to load and use DIDs from C++ programs.

• A number of DIDs, providing keyword definitions of common interest.

Latter provides a library providing convenience functions to create FITS files, supported by the DID keyword definitions.
