The tape contains several UNIX tar files. As indicated in the label of the
tape, the first tar file contains the sources of MIDAS. To unload them,
execute:
% cd /midas % tar xvf tapedevice
All unloaded files will come under the release directory 98NOV,
also referred to as MIDVERS.
