This plot
Trending plot for rms of dispersion solution from MOS arc lamp measurements.
Only arc lamp measurements taken to calibrate MOS science observations are
used; exposures with the standard star masks are disregarded.
Template ID: mos_cal_Arc (daytime), mos_cal_NightCalib (attached
night-time). Pipeline recipe: vmspcaldisp.
Pipeline results for LR grisms are usually not reliable. This is mainly caused
by multiplexing of the slits in the MOS masks. The rms of the dispersion
solution shows, therefore, huge scatter and automated scoring is not possible.
Interpretation of the rms plots for LR grisms requires experience.

The latest date is indicated on top of the plot.
If configured,
- data points belonging to the latest date are specially marked
- statistical averages are indicated by a solid line, and thresholds by broken lines
- outliers are marked by a red asterisk. They are defined as data points outside the
threshold lines
- "aliens" (= data points outside the plot Y limits) are marked by a red arrow (↑ or ↓)
- you can download the data for each parameter set if the 'Data downloads' link shows up
