GOODS/ISAAC Final Data Release (Version 2.0)

As part of the Great Observatories Origins Deep Survey (GOODS), near-infrared imaging observations of the Chandra Deep Field South (CDF-S) were carried out in J, H, Ks bands, using the ISAAC instrument mounted at the Antu Unit Telescope of the VLT at ESO's Cerro Paranal Observatory, Chile.

Data release from the 1st Technical Demonstration Run of MAD

The Multi-Conjugate Adaptive Optics Demonstrator (MAD) is a prototype MCAO system which aims to demonstrate in the laboratory and on sky the feasibility of different MCAO image reconstruction and correction techniques in view of future applications with the 2nd Generation VLT Instruments and E-ELT instrumentation.


Reprocessed non-GTO HARPS Advanced Data Products

The Virtual Observatory Systems (VOS) Department at ESO has as one of its tasks the creation and publication of Advanced Data Products (ADPs) into a VO-compliant Science Archive. ADPs are high-level data products, either provided by the astronomical community or created in-house, generally consisting of fully reduced and calibrated imaging and spectroscopic data, ancillary products, catalogues etc. which enable immediate scientific exploitation.

Euro-VO Research Initiative

The EURO-VO project is soliciting proposals from teams aiming at carrying out astronomical projects driven by the Virtual Observatory concept, and making use of the Virtual Observatory tools and applications. The successful groups will receive support from EURO-VO astronomers to complete their projects by December 2007.
