The algorithm descriptions in High-level algorithms follow the Functionalities chapters of the HDRL Pipeline Developer Manual (ESO-299492, document version 7, software version 1.6.0). Algorithm theory, figures and recipe-level parameter-list helpers remain in that manual; they are not repeated here.

ESO-299492 is an internal ESO document. HDRL source releases that the PyHDRL build uses are published at https://ftp.eso.org/pub/dfs/pipelines/libraries/hdrl/ . The C API is also summarized for Python callers in the API Reference (HDRL C → PyHDRL).
