This plot
This is the Health Check report for the FLAMES/UVES fibres.
It is based on MOS fibre flat data taken with the RED UPPER CCD, in all MOS
settings with plate 1 (6FIB 520, 7+1FIB and 8FIB 580).
Each fibre should always follow the same trend as the others, otherwise there
is
an issue with that fibre. The individual trends differ only by absolute
efficiency of each fibre. All fibres are fed simultaneously with the same
lamp (LAMP3, the robotic flat field lamp). Fibre 1 is fed by the simultaneous
calibration lamp; its performance is monitored separately, under 'lamp
stability'. Only REDU data are plotted here, the REDL results would be
redundant.
The data are based on the parameter fib_effic_rel, QC.FIBn.INTAVG.
Due to the complexity of the fibre system, no scores are implemented here.
General information
Click on any of the plots to see a close-up version.
The latest date is indicated on top of the plot.
If configured,
- data points belonging to the latest date are specially marked
- statistical averages are indicated by a solid line, and thresholds by broken lines
- outliers are marked by a red asterisk. They are defined as data points outside the
threshold lines
- "aliens" (= data points outside the plot Y limits) are marked by a red arrow (↑ or ↓)
- you can download the data for each parameter set if the 'Data downloads' link shows up
