EU-ARC 12 m + 7 m + TP Combination Workshop, ESO, Garching, 22 - 24 Feb 2016

Purpose: determine what we would like to propose to the rest of ALMA as a procedure to perform the combination, what QA2 criteria to apply, and how to organise the actual work for the cycle 1 and 2 data.

The idea is that we use the first day to get on the same page and come to a conclusion what we would like to propose to the rest of ALMA as a procedure to perform the combination, what QA2 criteria to apply, and how to organise the actual work for the cycle 1 and 2 data.

We identify whether there are still any practicability tests needed and start carrying out these tests.

On the second day we evaluate the first test results and finalise a presentation to all (incl. JAO, NAASC, NAOJ) which is then given at 13:30 h with the others attending via video.

Then we discuss and write up all conclusions.

The rest of the time is spent completing potential small studies and defining and distributing the remaining work. We also have to come up with a breakdown of which node does which part of the work and how the cycle 1/2 combination campaign will take place.
