Open a HDS file

This widget is used to select an HDS file for opening. The filter at the top of the widget determines which files are displayed in the Files window. Click on a file to select it. Note that opening a file from the command line is also possible and usually quicker and easier to use, e.g. hds_open,'1998-10-17.con'. The files are opened for read-only access.

Another hint: note that buttons labeled in capital letters create a new widget for the selected action, whereas buttons labeled with small letters immediately execute the procedure linked to that button.
