Loading point data

After a HDS data has been opened, you access it using procedures listed in menus under Access. Here we clicked on Access|Load|INTERFEROMETRY, which loaded the GeoParms and GenConfig objects, created the ScanTable which contains scan start and stop times, number of integrations etc., created and loaded background table and data, and the startable. At this point we have to select one or more stars in a widget created for loading the corresponding point data. We can click on a star, or select a group of stars by dragging the left mouse button over a selection. Once the button is released, the data is being loaded. Note that especially for astrometry data files, not all point data might fit into memory, making it necessary to load smaller chunks. Each one of those will overwrite any previously existing point data.
