Due to the integration of MyMidiGui into OYSTER, the latter package (Version 7.00 or higher) must be installed before using MyMidiGui. Download and unpack the MyMidiGui distribution in oyster/source, which will create a subdirectory called midi
Copy the shell scripts dispPhot and dispSciPhot to MIA+EWS-1.7.1/c/bin where they replace the 1.7.1 versions.
Copy oirChopPhotoImages.c to MIA+EWS-1.7.1/c/src/exec and run "make" in MIA+EWS-1.7.1/c/src.

After installing OYSTER, edit the file oyster/oyster.pro to include the correct pointers to the MIA+EWS installation according to the instructions found in this file for running MIA+EWS code. Make sure you have installed MIA+EWS with the same version number as MyMidiGui.
At the OYSTER prompt, type mymidigui to start the GUI.
Version 1.7 deals with the PRISM spectrum shift. Version 1.7.5 addresses a recent problem (chopping synchronization) with SCI_PHOT data.
MyMidiGui is a tool to support quick-look analysis of MIDI observations as part of Paranal science operations. Therefore, it has limited functionality which focuses on making simple data reduction commands available as GUI buttons.
