Problems

If problems arise, use the following test programs: testosu.exe, osutest.exe, and atestosu.exe, after first having them compiled and linked. This can be done via:

cd /midas/98NOV/test/os
make atestosu.exe
make testosu.exe
make osutest.exe

and if you have configured your own devcap.dat file:

setenv DEVCAPFILE /midas/98NOV/incl/devcap.dat # (C-Shell)
DEVCAPFILE=/midas/98NOV/incl/devcap.dat # (Bourne-Shell)
export DEVCAPFILE # (Bourne-Shell)

testosu.exe and osutest.exe are similar tests, and offer you a menu of options. atestosu.exe will execute a complete verification test on the selected tape.
