The file inetd.conf

This is the configuration file used by the inetd daemon to invoke, only when they are needed, other server daemons (like the MIDAS tapeserver). Edit the file /etc/inetd.conf and add the following line:

mtape stream tcp nowait nobody /usr/local/etc/in.mtaped in.mtaped
