Next: General Hints Up: Integrating a MIDAS Application Previous: Integrating a MIDAS Application

Introduction

As described in chapter [*], MIDAS application programs must fulfill a minimum set of coding and documentation requirements. In addition to these standards, we have a number of rules and recommendations concerning the usage of keywords, descriptors, among others.

In this chapter you can find which rules should be kept in mind in order to run your application successfully. In Section [*] we give some general hints concerning the use of keywords and descriptors. In Section [*] and Section [*] the usage of table interfaces and of error routines is briefly discussed. Section [*] we describe the general MIDAS libraries. Finally, in Section [*] a number of examples for the integration of Fortran and C code are given.
