The IRDIS arm optical distortion calibration (CI, DBI and DPI) is an image of a pinhole mask. The pipeline retrieves the optical distortion correction. The correction functions are given in several extensions of the pipeline product.

IRDIS pinhole mask calibrations are acquired during daytime. The template generates one raw frame.

History

Since the pinhole mask offsets within the FOV can be of the order of the pinhole distance, the pipeline recipe is not able to report the correct pinhole mask offset.
Due to further unreliabilities the pipeline recipe is decommissioned and the QC is terminated on 2016-06. This tutorial page will stay for reasons to provide a reference.
