• 1986: Finished school at Slagelse Gymnasium.
• 1987 - 1993: Student at the Technical University of Denmark. Title of Master Thesis: Spectral Methods on a Massively Parallel Computer
• 1992 - 1995: Employed in the R & D department of the Danish Meteorological Institute (DMI).
• 1995 - 1998: Working on my Ph.D.: Parallel Computation of Rotating Flows.
• 1999 - 2000: Employed as a two-year Post. Doc. at Los Alamos National Laboratory.
• 2001 - 2002: Software developer and project manager for NetGroup A/S.
• 2003 - : International staff member in the ESO Software Development Division.
