Rough magnitudes

Because approximate magnitudes are more useful when qualified by a terse description of their nature, the column labelled MAG should contain a character string rather than a number. For example, you might specify 'mpg=10.5 (HD)', or 'V=12.15'. Up to 11 characters can be carried in this field.
