Please register online and provide your talk or poster title, along with a short abstract in the case of an oral presentation. Pre-registered participants should confirm their interest in attending by filling out the online registration form. The registration fee is 150 euros, which will cover coffee breaks, lunches at ESO, and a conference dinner to be held Wednesday, June 29. Please fill out the credit card payment form provided on the website in pdf format, and mail this to ESO in Santiago. Those wishing to pay at the meeting will be charged a cash fee of 200 euros, which can also be paid in Chilean pesos or US dollars. ** As most of you are aware, the deadline for early ALMA science is expected to occur on the last day of this meeting. For those wishing to work on proposals a wireless connection will be available. Accommodations: Although Santiago has many hotels to offer, ESO has been given a discounted rate at the nearby Hotel El Director, where invited speakers and SOC members will stay. This hotel is within 10 minutes walking distance of the ESO headquarters where the meeting will be held. Participants are free to stay where they wish, but keep in mind that transportation to and from the meeting will not be provided. If you decide to stay at the Hotel El Director, please mention that you are attending the ESO workshop when you book your room. ALMA/APEX visit: As part of the conference program, we are organizing a visit to the ALMA and APEX facilities near San Pedro de Atacama. When you register, please indicate if you are interested in visiting the ALMA and APEX sites. The cost of this visit is not included in the registration fee, and is limited to 40 participants. Visitors would fly from Santiago to Calama on the afternoon of June 30, and spend two nights in San Pedro de Atacama. Flights will be arranged by Carlson Wagonlit Travel here at ESO in order to ensure the lowest airfares, while accommodations in San Pedro should be arranged by the participant. There are many hotels which have special rates for ALMA visitors, and we encourage you to book a hotel close to the central plaza for ease of transport for the tour. On Friday, July 1, the tour will include a visit to ALMA and APEX with a stopover at the operations support facility. The end of the day will include an asado at the APEX headquarters in Sequitor. Once your interest in the tour is stated, you will be contacted with further information, including the final cost. The deadline for full registration is April 8, 2011. We hope to see you in Santiago!
