Second 8.2-m VLT mirror and its cell arrive at Paranal
This photo shows the box with the second 8.2-m Zerodur mirror in front of the Mirror Maintenance Building, in the morning after arrival at Paranal. From here it was later moved into the building, where the mirror was placed on the M1 cell. (Photo obtained on September 21, 1998).
