Mirror installed on first VLT Unit Telescope
After having been removed from the M1 cell, the concrete dummy mirror rests on its special support system, under the Mirror Handling Tool in the MMB. Like the real Zerodur mirror, the dummy is only 17.5 cm thick. (Photo obtained on April 9, 1998).
