Second SUperb Seeing Instrument
The second SUperb Seeing Instrument, SUSI2, replaced SUSI as a sensitive, high-resolution CCD camera on ESO's New Technology Telescope in La Silla. SUSI, and then SUSI2, were developed to take advantage of superb atmospheric conditions to study a variety of astronomical objects with high spatial resolutions.
