Chilean President Sebastián Piñera speaks at La Silla

The President of the Republic of Chile, Sebastián Piñera, speaking to the media while visiting ESO’s La Silla Observatory before the total solar eclipse on 2 July 2019. The President was given a tour of La Silla’s world-class facilities, celebrating a fruitful partnership between ESO and host country Chile.
