Size comparison between the ELT and other telescope domes
An infographic that compares the size of the Extremely Large Telescope (ELT) dome with that of other major ground-based telescopes, either in operation or planned. The ELT, with a main mirror 39 metres in diameter, will be the largest optical/near-infrared telescope in the world.
