Milky Way stretches across the Chilean night sky

The Chilean night sky revealed in this fish-eye (fulldome) view from the Atacama Desert. The Milky Way can be seen to stretch across the sky. The constellation of Orion can be seen towards the end of the road which extends ahead. To the left, the Large Magellanic Cloud can be seen, as a bright smudge on the horizon.
