Nowy, spektakularny obraz opublikowany dzisiaj przez Europejskie Obserwatorium Południowe (ESO) daje nam wskazówki, w jaki sposób mogły powstać planety o masach Jowisza. Dzięki Bardzo Dużemu Teleskopowi (VLT) oraz Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA), naukowcy wykryli wielkie skupiska pyłu w pobliżu młodej gwiazdy, które mogą zapaść się, tworząc olbrzymie planety.
