Observing the Milky Way from the VLT
This time-lapse video shows the majestic profile of the Milky Way dominating the skies. On the ground, the rotating domes of two of the four Unit Telescopes of the VLT (UT3 and UT4), from where astronomers are observing the wonders of the cosmos.
