MATISSE undergoing initial tests
The MATISSE (Multi-AperTure mid-Infrared SpectroScopic Experiment) instrument at the Observatoire de la Côte d’Azur in France, where it underwent a suite of initial tests. MATISSE is a new spectro-interferometer, part of the second generation of instruments for the Very Large Telescope Interferometer (VLTI) at ESO’s Paranal Observatory in Chile.
