Comparison of the TRAPPIST-1 system and the inner Solar System

This diagram compares the Sun and the inner Solar System with the TRAPPIST-1 planetary system. The TRAPPIST-1 ultra cool dwarf star is much fainter and smaller than the Sun and the planets orbit much closer to their parent star than Mercury does in the Solar System.
