Tähtitieteilijät ovat käyttäneet ALMA:a taltioidakseen hätkähdyttävän kauniin kuvan eksoottisen punaisen tähden, U Antliae, ympärilleen sylkemästä materiasta muodostamasta herkästä kuplasta. Nämä havainnot auttavat tähtitieteilijöitä ymmärtämään paremmin kuinka tähdet kehittyvät elämänsä myöhäisempien vaiheiden aikana.
