The path of totality for the total solar eclipse of 2231
28 August 2231 is the date for the next total solar eclipse at ESO's La Silla Observatory, after the on 2 July 2019. This video shows the pathway of totality for the 2231 eclipse, zooming out from the location of the La Silla Observatory in the Atacama Desert.
