VLT at sunset
The Very Large Telescope (VLT) is located at Paranal Observatory in the remote Atacama desert of northern Chile. This colourful image shows a fantastic view of the four Unit Telescopes of the VLT at sunset poised atop Cerro Paranal, roughly 2600 meters high.
