This video combines the first two incredible images of ESO’s GigaGalaxy Zoom project ― the Milky Way panorama taken by Serge Brunier and the more central vista obtained by Stéphane Guisard. Starting from a general view, the video zooms onto the beautiful Lagoon Nebula, also known as Messier 8.
